Who said exercising cannot be fun? On Oct. 26, strap on those running shoes and meander to the Iron Hill Parking Lot at The Shoppes for the second annual Tapping of the Great Pumpkin 5K. This family-filled event will include two festive runs, a walk, and “The Tapping of the Great Pumpkin.”

Our very own Springhouse dentist, Dr. Joshua Stelzer, help sponsor this local event to help our wonderful community enjoy a delightful afternoon with their families while supporting a worthy cause—proceeds will go directly to the Life is good Playmakers, an organization that helps children “overcome poverty, violence, and illness through the power of play.”

An afternoon filled with prizes

People registered for the event will get tickets for two free Iron Hill Beers, appetizers from the Iron Hill Kitchen and Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar, tie-dye race t-shirts, and entrance into the Tapping of the Great Pumpkin Festival.

Plus, wear your Halloween costume during your event and you will be entered in the “Best Costume Contest!”
