COVID-19 Update

Dear Stelzer Dental Patients,

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months and we THANK YOU for your patience and understanding during these challenging times. While many things have changed, one thing remains consistent and that is our commitment to your safety and well-being.

Our office will reopen on Monday, June 8, 2020 with a modified schedule. As we reopen, we will begin scheduling patients who had emergent dental needs and were delayed during our office closure. Phasing our opening will allow for strategic patient scheduling, limited waiting time and increased time for infection control.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We ensure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.

Infection control has always been a top priority in our practice, and we have made some updates and changes to keep our patients and staff safe. We have implemented the following requirements/changes when preparing and arriving for your appointment:

Additional PPE will be worn by each provider.

Patients will be required to wear face masks when entering and exiting our office.

Our office will communicate with you before your appointment to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.

Prior to your appointment, online health history and screening forms will be emailed to you. The forms must be submitted electronically prior to your appointment.

Patients will be asked to remain in their cars and call the office upon arrival. We will communicate with you when your provider is ready. We ask that you refrain from bringing other family members into our office during your appointment.

Patients will be screened and have their temperatures taken prior to their appointment.

Hand sanitizer will be provided upon your entrance into the office.

We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to seeing our patients, neighbors and friends again soon.

Sincerely,

Dr. Stelzer and Team
